The residents were thankfully evacuated prior to the collapse but the fall threatened the 40 workers still toiling in the building, who all managed to escape without serious injury.

The incident happened around 11.45 am today when the residents of the building who were involved in Bangalore metro construction work noticed the cracks when the building slightly tilted. The timely arrival of the fire brigade team saved over 40 laborers from the Building.

Before the collapse, all residents were evacuated and moved to a safe distance. At around 11:45 am the building collapsed.
No casualties or injury reported from this incident. Authorities are clearing the debris and carrying out inspections on other buildings nearby.
