Armed police run towards Metrotown mall in Vancouver, Canada, to stop potential shooter. Incident was later declared 'unfounded'.
Armed police officers run towards Metrotown mall in Vancouver, Canada, over reports of a person with a gun, as onlookers stare at the scene.
A police officer is heard shouting "Move!" before entering the building.
The threat was unfounded but it is still unclear whether the reports of shots being fired and of a pipe bomb are related. There were no injuries.
The police were already in the area for the closure of the SkyTrain station just before 3 pm, when they received a call from someone claiming that they saw a pipe bomb inside the mall.
Explosive-detective dogs were deployed and the mall was evacuated.
