An intense hailstorm pummeled western Sydney on October 14.

Footage shows the downpour covering the neighbourhood in ice pellets.

Resident Michael Blok said: ‘This could be the end of the world.’

The ‘very dangerous’ thunderstorms blitzed Sydney and New South Wales on Thursday, according to the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM).

They said the inclement weather brought large hailstones, flash flooding, and strong winds across western Australia, leaving several suburbs without power.

The BOM said the weather system has weakened, but warned of possible localised thunderstorms in storm-battered areas.
