Every owner of a cat has at least once seen the strange behavior of their pets in the form of chattering teeth. This is how cats react to prey that is out of reach, such as a bird outside the window or a fly on the ceiling. According to veterinarians, this sound conveys the excitement of a cat who is passionate about prey. This is what all cats do, regardless of breed or size — even wild cats sometimes "chirp". Sometimes they make this sound at the sight of food, toys, or even during a "hunt" for a person, which, however, happens much less often.
In this video, Natalia from the Leningrad region captured her cat named Pusya, who is very passionate about something that is outside the window.
