Satellite streaks across Indiana sky
NASA confirmed that what seemed like a fireball streaking across the Indiana sky on Wednesday (October 21) was a satellite.
The bright and long-lasting fireball was produced by the reentry and fragmentation of a satellite.
Jonathan McDowell, an astrophysicist at Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, claims the object is a Russian spy satellite, 'Kosmos-2551'
The filmer told Newsflare: "Thought it was part of the meteor shower but was much slower than others, and later found out it was the Russian satellite that re-entered earth."
