One thousand cubic meters of garbage have piled up at a sluice gate in the Indonesian capital Jakarta.

The footage from Friday (October 29) shows large cranes at the Manggarai sluice trying to clear out piles of trash made up of wood, debris, and household waste.

The garbage got washed in after days of heavy rain leading to flooding in some parts of Java, the island where Jakarta is located.

One thousand cubic meters of garbage from West Java piled up at the sluice gate in Central Jakarta. wood debris and household waste were seen being evacuated by the Manggarai sluice gate officers.
