The safari park offers an opportunity to observe Amur leopards in close-to-natural circumstances from bridges built over stripes of the forest. It had been a surprise to discover that leopards, unlike larger feline species, can actually meow.
This is an endangered species unfortunately with just around 100 preserved in the wilderness so keeping them in zoos and parks around the world is important to have a backup of the gene pool. The cat in the video is Rona delivered from a Czech zoo back to close to her species original habitat.
