Roughly 1711 hours on 11/4/2021 units were dispatched to a possible building collapse with fire while on scene of a furnace malfunction in town. Command quickly released units from the call and had them proceed to oak street. Units arrived to find no fire or smoke but dust settling. Crews stood by while an excavator demolished what was left of the structure and then were placed available. During the call a drone was requested by a chief to provide and extra set of eyes during the demolition.
