This is the moment the cast of new Marvel movie 'Eternals' surprised fans by turning up to a premiere screening.

The director, actor and Marvel President walked on stage just after the adverts to the glee of the cinema-goers at the theatre premiere last Friday (5/11).

Film producer Kevin Feige, who is the President of Marvel Studios initially introduced director Chloe Zhao .

Zhao then welcomed onstage Kumail Nanjiani, who plays Kingo one of the superheroes who disguised himself on Earth as a Bollywood Star.

The trio walked out in front of the screen at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, USA, to rapturous applause before addressing the crowd.

Nanjiani, 43, joked that he thought his appearance as an MCU hero was "still a prank" until the opening weekend of the film.

"I would've been here watching this movie with you guys - except I'm in this one!" he said.

Oscar-winning director Zhao, 39, admitted that making the film was sometimes "hard".

She said: "There was one day I couldn't even get myself off the floor."

She went on to credit Feige for telling her to "think about the fans" to and motivate her to keep going, before the trio left the stage together.

Action fan Rodrigo Campos, 36, attended the screening with a friend, and was over the moon to meet some of the stars.

The salesman said: "The audience freaked out and it was an amazing reaction and surprise.

"It meant a lot that they spoke to the fans and gave some great insight into the making of it.

"It was cool to learn that they were mega fans of the Marvel universe so they geeked out being part of it.

"The movie had the first deaf superhero and the first gay Marvel superhero - these are all amazing things to celebrate."

The video was filmed on November 5 2021 at 7pm.
