The Lord Mayor's Show returns to London on Nov 13 2021. Young Britons were seen waving the British National Flag in the spectator area.

The Lord Mayor's Show dates back to the early 13th century, when King John rashly allowed the City of London to appoint its own Mayor. Every year, the newly-elected Mayor tours the city in a golden carriage to swear loyalty to the Crown. This year, Alderman Vincent Keaveny was elected as the 693rd Lord Mayor of the City of London. The parade continues from Temple and marches back to Mansion House through St. Paul's.
