Dozens of motorbikes and cars foundered against heavy floodwaters in the streets of the south Indonesian city of Bandung.

Footage from the Cibeunying Kaler District of Bandung filmed on Wednesday (November 10) shows local residents working hand in hand to save motorbikes that were being carried away by the flood currents brought about by recent heavy rains.

"Heavy floods like this have often happened here. But Alhamdulillah, many residents helped, especially in the morning the motorists who were caught in the flood," commented Memet, a local resident.

Dozens of motorbikes were swept away by the flood currents in the Jalan Cikutra area. Cibeunying Kaler District, Bandung City, Wednesday (10/11/2021). The local residents worked hand in hand to save the motorbike that was carried away by the flood currents.

The flood with a fairly heavy current made the motorbike unable to survive and had to drift downwards and hit a car. Luckily, the driver was able to save himself before causing any casualties.

Floods of shipments at that location have often occurred, especially when heavy rains hit the city of Bandung. Such conditions are very dangerous for road users.

Dramatically, dozens of motorized vehicles passed through the flooded roads, causing dozens of vehicles to break down and be swept away by the current.
