Three armed men flee with Rs 5 lakh from State Bank of India branch in Rajasthan

Three masked men flashing pistols robbed Rs 5.23 lakh from the State Bank of India’s Khandap branch in Barmer on Monday (4 October) evening, the robbery being completely recorded on CCTV cameras.
Superintendent of Police Anand Sharma said the three masked men arrived on a motorbike and entered the bank at 4.20 pm. As the bank was closed on Sunday, villagers from nearby areas had come on Monday for transactions. The three entered the bank flashing waving pistols and knife. At that time, around 8-10 customers were in the bank. The robbers first threatened the customers and made them stand in a line. One of them then approached the cashier with a bag and put Rs 5.23 lakh in it. Another went to the manager and pointed his pistol at him. A few minutes later, the three made away on their bike. Bank employees and villagers informed police. Soon after Police team immediately reached the spot.
