An AI robot appeared to rebel against its human would-be master in a hilarious Segway demonstration at the Ideal Home event in London on Wednesday 24 November.

The artificial intelligence Segway device being demonstrated is supposed to follow its user around until they are ready to step on it and ride off, but the gadget appeared to mistake a speaker stack for its would-be master and refused to follow him around as it should.

It is not clear if this was simply because the demonstrator was wearing all black and had stood in front of the black-coloured speaker stack, or if it was because the robot transport had had enough of following him around.

The slightly flustered demonstrator was eventually able to recover his Segway's attention, by turning its camera around to face him.
