A group of anti-mandate protesters gathered at Panera Bread in Union Square, New York, Wednesday afternoon (December 1) to stage a sit-in against vaccine mandates.

They protest by refusing to show vaccination cards while sitting on tables, refusing to leave, and engaging with customers and employees.

The New York Police later arrived to remove the protestors. Panera Bread employees then announced they'll be closing for the day, and all customers had to leave.

There were no incidents or arrests made.

The group engaged with customers and employees before the NYPD arrived. Panera Bread employees then announced that they'd be closing for the day and all customers had to leave, protesters and customers then left the store without incident or arrest.
