A hilarious video has emerged of an art installation, nicknamed 'Tender', which parodies popular dating app Tinder.

In the footage, a work of artist Marcello Gómez Maureira, a piece of meat is rotated over a smartphone screen to 'swipe right' on every dating profile it encounters.

"Tender is the easy way to connect with new and interesting meat around you. Switch on and if someone likes you back, it's a match!", Marcello later wrote online, giving the piece the slogan: "Tender - It's how people meat".

The video was captured in Leiden, the Netherlands, late last year.
