Ice chunk knocks down courier after falling from 8-storey building
An ice chunk knocked over a courier after falling down from an 8-storey building in northern China.
The terrifying moment filmed in the city of Jixi in Heilongjiang Province on December 10 shows an ice chunk suddenly hitting a courier walking past a building.
Nearby residents ran to move the courier to a safe place, in case the ice fell down again before calling the police and ambulance.
According to reports, the courier suffered fractures to his neck but he was not in life-threatening condition.
The property management said they had already cleared the snow on the building's roof twice but due to the rainfalls recently, ice had formed on the roof again.
