Anti-lockdown protesters in London party and hurl metal barriers at police outside 10 Downing Street (FULL VERSION)

There were tense scenes outside Downing Street in central London on Saturday afternoon (December 18) as protesters at an anti-lockdown event hurl metal barriers at police officers.

The footage first shows people partying prior to the mood changing and then several men lifting up the barriers and throwing them at the line of police guarding the building. The officers respond by using their batons to push back the protesters.

On Saturday afternoon (December 18) London Mayor Sadiq Khan declared ‘major incident’ in London over spread of new Covid variant Omicron.
