This is the dramatic moment a wild leopard attacked a journalist in northern India after a 60-hour rampage in which the big cat injured 15 people.

CCTV footage filmed on December 26 shows the leopard escaping from a net in Lucknow in the state of Uttar Pradesh and leaping at a local reporter who was covering the attempt to capture the creature.

After lashing out at the journalist, the male leopard runs off down the street.

A team of 30 members of the forest department eventually managed to capture the big cat after 60 hours.

According to local reports, the leopard injured 15 people during its rampage through the Jankipuram area of the city.

The incident is of Jankipuram area of Lucknow , which happened around 12:30 am after midnight on 26th December . According to local reports this wild male leopard created havoc in the Gumbda police circle area from last 60 hours finally captured by forest department team .
Nearly 30 members of a forest department team was trying to capture the leopard . The leopard injured around 15 people during this day .
