A pregnant woman cut holes into dozens of wedding dresses as the photography shop refused to refund her deposit in southern China.

Video filmed in the city of Chongqing on January 9 shows a pregnant woman named Jiang using a pair of scissors to cut wedding dresses in a photography shop.

According to reports, Jiang paid 3,500 yuan as a deposit to take wedding photos in April 2021 and was scheduled to host her wedding in October 2021.

However, she got pregnant and her city was in lockdown due to COVID-19 in August 2021, so she negotiated with the shop to postpone her wedding photo shoot.

On January 9, Jiang thought she was about to give birth and was not convenient to take wedding photos, so she went to talk to the shop again and wanted them to refund her deposit but they refused.

Jiang then got angry and cut 32 wedding dresses, which are worth 67,400 yuan (£7,728.18) in the shop.

The shop requested 50,000 yuan as compensation but Jiang was only willing to pay 30,000 yuan. They are still negotiating the compensation.
