The Basilica Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary Most Holy, known simply as the Guadalajara Cathedral, is the cathedral of Guadalajara, seat of the Archdiocese of Guadalajara and one of the main temples of the Catholic Church in Mexico.

It is one of the most representative buildings in the city, for its towers with neo-Gothic needles and for its history, along with Glorieta La Minerva, the Hospicio Cabañas, the Degollado Theater and the Arches of Guadalajara.

It is located between the cross of squares in the historic center of Guadalajara, the spaces include the Plaza de Armas, the Plaza Guadalajara, the Plaza de la Liberación and the Rotonda de los Jaliscienses Ilustres.
