'You can tell how invested this dad was in the VR cricket game by the way he had no clue about what was happening around him.

This amusing video, filmed by Faras Aamir, shows the said dad unintentionally striking his wife and son while trying to "hit the ball" headed his way.

"After my brother purchased the Oculus Quest 2 VR system, my dad was curious to try out cricket in the virtual world," Faras stated. "My whole family immediately gathered around him, curious to see what he might entertain us with. To our surprise, he swung the controller and hit my mom, who was standing directly in front of him. As she screamed and uncontrollably laughed in shock, my brother went over to comfort her and unexpectedly got hit by a second swing from our dad."

The filmer added that nobody was hurt during this bizarrely funny activity.

"It was something we laughed at and watched back several times that weekend," Faras wrote.
