A man comes across a mother duck with only one baby duckling at West Regional Library in Broward County in Plantation, Florida. He wonders why the mother duck only has one duckling with her until he hears chirping coming from the storm drain. The baby ducklings fell through the grate covering the drain. The man and another kind stranger use a metal strainer to reach into the drain and lift the stuck ducklings out, but are only able to get two before the rest of the ducklings go through a pipe to another drain. They get another stranger to pull the cover off the other storm drain where the rest of the ducklings went. The stranger uses a big net to scoop up the rest of the ducklings out after removing the drain cover.
