Out-of-control pontoon destroys bridge in huge smash during Storm Franklin in Leeds, UK
Video captured the moment an out-of-control floating platform smashed into a low bridge in Armley, west of Leeds in northern England, on Sunday 20 February.
It completely destroys the small bridge before carrying on downriver to cause more damage.
The pontoon previously had heavy machinery on it. That was knocked off further upstream when the platform ripped from its moorings and went under a footbridge.
The pontoon then carried on downstream at high speed, smashing into the bridge shown in the video.
