Clarence Tai, a 45-year-old programme manager, captured a group of cheeky monkeys proving the saying ‘monkey see, monkey do’, as they amused themselves on a kid’s playground slide on 8 February in Bukit Batok Nature Park, Singapore.

Mr Tai began filming the totally bananas moment when he saw the wild macaques working out how to play on the plastic slide – just like human children do!

The nature reserve is a popular spot for families, so Mr Tai was surprised to see these opportunistic macaques making the most of the quiet playground 'like little children.'

He said: "The monkeys are natives in the reserve and took the opportunity to have some fun at the playground when humans aren’t around."
