Incredible footage of the Amsterdam cityscape during Storm Eunice captured the moment a huge tree fell over, crushing a car, on Thursday 18 February.

Filmed by Greetje Kamps in the Dutch city, the gripping timelapse shows the massive tree gradually leaning as it is battered by winds, before finally falling over.

"This was taken on Friday, February 18 (2022)," the filmer told us. "Here, you can see Storm Eunice causing a tree to fall and hit cars, a lantern, and a few bicycles."

Over a dozen people were killed in the storm, which hit several European countries. Several of those deaths were caused by falling trees, which also damaged countless properties.
