Ukraine protesters used their country's flag to cover a TV screen playing military propaganda outside the Russian Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand.

Demonstrators converged on the building for the fifth consecutive day amid an international outcry over military action in Ukraine. Many held posters criticising President Vladimir Putin.

The rally came as Russian troops today moved towards Ukraine capital Kyiv in a push to topple the regime, which is backed by the U.S. and Europe.

Russia President Vladimir Putin announced a ‘special military operation’ in Ukraine’s Donbas region last week. He said in a public address on February 24: ‘We decided to launch a special military action aimed at demilitarisation and denazification of Ukraine.’

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had pleaded for peace but added that Ukraine will defend itself from any invasion attempts.
