The video, captured by a commuter cycling to work on Friday 12 June, shows flooded cycle lanes and swollen rivers.

According to local news reports, Denver, including the Cherry Creek area, saw 2 inches of rainfall on Thursday afternoon.

“This journey starts on Lakewood Gultch Trail, onto the South Platt River trail, crosses over Cherry Creek, and finally over Clear Creek. Much of the bike path was flooded, but I used it where I could,” the filmer later wrote online.

This Journey starts on Lakewood Gultch Trail, onto the South Platt River trail, crosses over Cherry Creek, and finally over Clear Creek. Much of the bike path was flooded, but I used it where I could. Denver has incredible network of Bike paths and bike lanes. I do hundreds of miles a week, and I'm seldom on the roads.

Against all odds due to severe weather and flooding, this super reliable machine got me the usual 13 miles to work. I commute on an Electric bike, 30-50 miles every day and I LOVE every second of it!
