A fast-spreading wildfire broke out in Uljin county, South Korea's eastern coastal area, on March 4.

The footage, which was filmed yesterday (March 5), shows a car driving through the blaze.

As of Saturday (March 5), more than 6,000 people have been evacuated. The devastating blaze has destroyed more than 14,800 acres of land, and at least 150 homes. No casualties have been reported.

The South Korean Government issued a natural state of disaster. On Friday (March 4), President Moon Jae-in called for "all-out efforts" to protect the Hanul Nuclear Power Plant. The station is now safe thanks to firefighters' intervention and strong winds, which pushed the blaze southwards.
