Chinese police officer uses pepper spray to ward off sheep attacking elderly man
A police officer used pepper spray to prevent a sheep from attacking an elderly man in northern China.
Video filmed in the city of Hohhot in Inner Mongolia on March 15 shows an elderly man sitting on the ground and a male sheep running to attack him.
A police officer named Sun driving past the area witnessed the incident and came out of his car to help the elderly man.
Sun was seen using pepper spray to repel the animal.
According to reports, the sheep attacked the elderly man who was his owner repeatedly during herding.
The police officer Mr Sun saw the incident when he was on his way to travel, so Sun stopped to help the elderly man.
The male sheep finally went back to the flock and the elderly man found a wooden stick to protect himself.
The elderly man called his family and Sun left after he confirmed that the elderly man was not in danger anymore.
