Roofs were blown away and power lines were torn down when a tropical summer storm hit northeast Thailand on Friday afternoon March 18.

Footage shows the strong wind and rain battering a car followed by the aftermath of the downpour in Nakhon Ratchasima province following soaring temperature of more than 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit) as the hot summer season starts.

Officials from the Provincial Electricity Authority repaired the damaged cables. There were no reported injuries.
