Taiwan struck by 6.7 magnitude earthquake

A strong magnitude 6.7 earthquake struck off the coast of Taiwan on Wednesday, March 23.

According to the US Geological Survey, the tremor occurred around five miles off the coast between the southeastern city of Taitung and Hualien, further north.
