Cat trapped on top of tree rescued using cherry picker
A helpless pet cat that was stuck on top of a tall tree was rescued with a cherry picker in Thailand.
The worried owner called the rescue team after seeing her beloved pet stuck on top of a palm tree in Suphan Buri province on January 7.
The officers arrived with the cherry picker and a volunteer was lifted up to reach the feline that was trapped several metres above the ground. It was returned to its owner safely.
Volunteer Suchin Rukrung said: 'It makes me happy seeing the woman reuniting with her pet.'
