Hidden Japanese Water Garden with Koi and Small Waterfall in Osaka, Japan Somewhere Near the Japanese Mint Building

Buy video

Four beautiful multicolored Koi (Japanese carp) swim in this tiny Japanese water garden behind a public building in Osaka, Japan. A small waterfall provides flowing water and aeration of the water for the fish. There are NO signs to tell anyone it is there! Typical of Japan, I have found a number of these hidden gardens in many public spaces across the country. Their only purpose seems to be pleasing the curious people who stumble across them—and maybe keeping a few beautiful fish happy! No people or surroundings are shown, since this is a public building with many visitors, and i didn't want to advertise the garden's presence. It would soon be overrun with guests.
