Stunning drone footage captured in Western Australia shows a pod of dolphins sharing the waves with surfers.

"When a strong swell aligns with a pod of playful dolphins passing through the bay they'll stop by to have some fun," said the filmer Alasdair Evans who captured the footage in Kalbarri.

"I've been waiting a long time for all the elements to align," he added.

"The water was clear enough to see the large pod of dolphins riding the wave just under the surface along with breaching as the wave roars down the point. The cherry on top of the cake is when the dolphins all turn together at the end of the wave and jump out the back in perfect unison," Evans concluded.

The video was captured in July 2021.
