Construction workers and firemen freed a magpie trapped in a glass curtain wall in eastern China.

Video filmed in the city of Rizhao in Shandong Province on March 31 shows a magpie trapped in between a wall and a glass window in a school's stadium.

Another clip shows a construction worker using a drill to open a hole in the wall and a fireman using his hand to reach the trapped bird.

After around two hours, the magpie was rescued. Since it was not injured, the bird was released back into the wild.

3月31日，山东日照一中东校区，学校体育馆即将完工，一只喜鹊不慎掉进了玻璃幕墙里，学生看到后果断打119求助，学校也立即联系了施工方。
很快，施工队队长、消防救援人员和校领导都赶了过来，但是喜鹊被卡的位置很“刁钻”，外面是整面的钢化玻璃，里面是水泥墙，中间只有10厘米的间隙，喜鹊很难飞出。若在玻璃上凿个洞，那整面玻璃都会碎，把玻璃幕墙下的底座拆掉，消防救援人员也伸不进手去。最稳妥的方法只有一个，破开后面的水泥墙。
破墙开始！拆下瓷砖、切割墙面、一面墙被砸出一个大洞。但新的问题又来了，消防救援人员只能侧身把手伸进去，可他自己又看不见喜鹊的位置。这样的话，只能一人在墙外指挥，一人把手伸进夹层，两人通过对讲机交流，合力救援。
前后经过2个多小时的营救，喜鹊终于得救，经检查无恙后，被重新放飞在校园里。（视频由山东台提供）
