Footage shows a wild monitor lizard casually walking alongside a lake in the Lumpini Park in Bangkok, Thailand, on April 5.

Officials estimated in 2016 there were more than 400 Asian water monitor lizards living in the park and efforts to control their population have been unsuccessful.

The lizards have since become a tourist attraction in their own right, with holidaymakers often including a walk around the park - dubbed Bangkok's Central Park because of its central location in the city surrounded by high rise buildings - on their itinerary during their trip to Bangkok.
