A couple of paramedics were alarmed by a toy snake as they approached a patient's house in Stephenville, Texas.

This footage, caught on Rebecca Howell's doorbell camera, shows a couple of medical professionals' unexpected and comical encounter with a "fake snake."

"We had to call an ambulance to pick up my boyfriend as he was having a post-COVID ministroke and I could not get him to the car myself," Howell said.

"I had forgotten the kids put a rubber snake on the porch a few weeks before. They (the ambulance crew) noticed it as they were coming back up with the stretcher to load him up.

"Poor guys! Luckily, the doorbell camera caught it and we had a good laugh about it after!"

'This video is proof that more often than not, the funniest things are those that happen out of the blue.
