Zoo visitor angers agitated baboon by banging on enclosure glass in eastern China
A woman visiting a zoo in eastern China angered an agitated baboon by banging on the enclosure's glass
A video filmed in the city of Wuxi in Jiangsu Province on May 2 shows a woman using knocking on the glass of a baboon's enclosure to try to get its attention and then several children mimicked her actions.
However, the baboon then lost its temper and used its head to bang the glass window repeatedly.
The filmer Ms Wu said the tourists' behaviour was inappropriate. She tried to stop them but they all ignored her and she could not find the keepers either.
A member of staff at the zoo said they will try to dissuade tourists from inappropriate behaviour, and also install a warning sign.
