Dramatic footage has emerged of a man being tackled by an adult male Siberian tiger.

The footage, captured at a wildlife sanctuary in Palatka, FL, US, shows the huge tiger running towards the man before pinning him to the ground.

“Samson the Siberian tiger decides to skip the lure and go in for the tackle … Carl got hit harder then an NFL quarterback,” the filmer later wrote online.

Fortunately, Carl – who manages the sanctuary – survived the tackle unharmed.

Although the video was originally captured in January 2013, it has only recently been posted online by Single Vision.
