Chinese man uses 35kg of cardboard to make scratching post for his cats
A man used 35 kilograms of cardboard to make a 1.5-metre-high scratching post for his cats in southern China.
Video filmed in the city of Quanzhou in Fujian Province on April 22 shows a man named Da Xiong making a giant snake-shaped scratching post out of the cardboard boxes.
Da Xiong said he wanted to get a scratching post which can be climbed by cats as well but he could not find a good one. Since he likes DIY he decided to make one by himself.
He spent 57 yuan to get 35 kilograms of cardboard boxes and it took him three days to complete the post.
Da Xiong said his cats liked the post he made very much and used it very often.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
