A video has emerged from Boulder Colorado, USA of a bear falling from a tree after being tranquilized by wildlife officials.

The 2-year-old black bear climbed up the tree on Friday morning where it lazed around for approximately 4 hours, according to local reports.

Wildlife officials darted the bear and it fell about 30 feet, hitting some mats before rolling onto the ground.

It briefly popped its head up before falling asleep.

Wildlife officials said they would relocate the bear as far away from the university campus as possible.

Dense foliage and windy conditions made it difficult to get a clear shot at the bear but eventually the Colorado DOW got it down safely.
