Thirsty elephant drinks water from pond, strolls around tourist jeeps in Sri Lanka
An elephant was seen moving around tourist jeeps and drinking water from a pond at a national park in Sri Lanka.
The incident took place at Yala National Park in the southeastern part of the country on May 20.
Visuals showed the elephant drinking water with the help of its trunk. It then strayed close to the tourist jeeps.
The big mammal started following the jeeps. The tourists inside the jeep looked thrilled at the sight of the elephant.
