'Things definitely didn't go according to plan for Graysen Barrs on August 5, 2018, but that didn't make things any less fun.

Filmed in Virginia, this footage shows a funny fail that occurred during a horse race (or, a variation of it, to be more precise).

"This is a failed attempt at something called 'rescue race,' where one rider is on horseback and the other on foot at the end of the arena," the filmer said. "The rider on the horse is supposed to pick up their partner as fast as possible without them touching the ground to win the race.

"However, for that to happen, the horse is supposed to go fast, so there could be enough momentum to swing the rider up from the ground. That wasn't the case here, haha."

Graysen also confirmed that there were "nothing but smiles after the epic fail." She also confirmed that she and her partner ended up winning the contest.
