Dozens of Palestinians were injured in confrontations with Israeli forces in the West Bank on Friday 27 May, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC).

Among the clashes were confrontations in the West Bank villages of Huwara, Beit Dajan and Beita, medical sources said.

The PRC said that in Huwara, south of Nablus, two Palestinians were injured by live shots fired at their feet, while a third was hit by a stun grenade. They were all taken to a nearby hospital.

Other Palestinian protesters in the village were reportedly pepper-sprayed, including four children and an elderly man. They were treated at a local emergency medical centre.
