A train stopped on its track to let an elephant pass in eastern India's West Bengal.

The incident happened with the SGUJ-Alipurduar Jn Intercity train travelling between Gulma and Sivok on May 29.

Visuals show the train driven by Jitendra Kumar and S Kundu stopped on its tracks to let the pachyderm pass through.

The train was halted just in time to let the wild elephant go through. The animal was then seen walking into the forest after crossing the tracks.
