A powerful 6.1 earthquake rocked Chengdu, China, in the southern Sichuan area, sending these kindergarten teachers scurrying along with their young students on Wednesday (June 1).

The other teachers also rushed into a classroom to hurriedly evacuate the children.

Reports of injuries are unknown.
