70 RAF aircraft give Queen a spectacular flyover for Platinum Jubilee

The famous Red Arrows took part in a huge military bypass today (June 2) to mark the Queen's Platinum jubilee. The Spectacular event saw 70 aircraft, representing the Queen's 70 years on the throne.

The footage captured the aircraft after they had just flown up the mall, and over Buckingham Palace.


The event by the UK armed forces aircraft from the Royal Navy, the Army and Royal Air Force fly over multiple counties and cities of the UK

The Red Arrows were accompanied by the Lancaster Bomber, Supermarine Spitfire, and Hawker Hurricane that make up the 'Battle of Britain Memorial Flight", among many other aircraft, including Chinooks and dozens of military helicopters.

The filmer said, "it was the most amazing sight and sounds I've ever seen in the air, and definitely one of the highlights of The Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations so far as well as watching the Red Arrows trademark patriotic red, white and blue smoke trails."
