Utah man discovers group of TOMBSTONES buried under his yard
A man in Provo, Utah, discovered a group of cracked tombstones buried on his property while doing some landscaping.
The macabre discovery, filmed here on May 31st, raised questions for the owner as they had no knowledge of any gravesite on the land, and the home being 120 years old.
The stones appeared to be of people from the US Armed Forces, but fortunately were not part of an undiscovered cemetery, but were unused stones used by a previous owner to make a decorative path.
The filmer explained:
"I started to landscape a small section of my property and found some granite pavers. When digging them up I found names and dates of death. From the US Army, Navy, National Guard, the now discovered headstones seemed to have no end.
After calling multiple city departments, as well as the local cemetery to make sure there wasn't a body in my yard. An owner of the home from years ago utilised a monument company's mess-ups and used the discarded mistakes to make a decorative path. Much to the new home owner's surprise."
