Retro C5 Sinclaire 1985 electric vehicles are moving slowly past the Houses of Parliament on Sunday, 5 June as Platinum Jubilee celebrations have come to a close. Invented by Sir Clive Sinclaire, the C5 was the first of a family of electric vehicles with 15 miles-an-hour (24 km/h) top speed. One-person recumbent tricycle Sinclaire C5 needs no petrol, no license - just a battery. It is a rare piece of British motoring history and is a cult item for collectors.
