Two monkeys in Thailand schooled some pupils on how to really monkey around in school.

In the video, shot on 31 May, the primate pair wandered into Pibulwitthayalai School in Lopburi province, causing amused panic when they started to climb up the handrails of a staircase in the school.

Curious and concerned at the same time, students crowded around as the monkeys checked out their new surroundings, apparently unconcerned that some students had armed themselves with badminton rackets in case they attacked.

The simian visitors later climbed down and left the building without harming anyone.

This is the moment a couple of monkeys rampaged through a school in Thailand.

The pair of curious primates wandered into Pibulwitthayalai School and later caused chaos by jumping around on the handrails of the stairs in Lopburi province on May 31.

The students crowded around the area to see the wild animals, with some of them armed with badminton rackets in case the monkeys attacked.

The simian visitors later climbed back down and left the building without harming anyone.
